Delicious Jewelry Designer David Savage

David is the artisan and owner of Dorkorama on Artfire.
Dorkorama features heirloom quality, artisan handmade gemstone and glass, wire wrapped, sterling silver, gold-filled, upcycled and steampunk inspired jewelry.
We love that David does not limit his design techniques to one style.
He uses a wide array of stones, wires and materials which allows for an amazing amount of variety in his jewelry.
There were so many droolicious pieces in Davids shop that we had a hard time picking 'just a few' to share with you!

Yobo and The Jewelry :ninja!

A bit about Yobo:
the :ninja is an all self-taught jewelry designer, and has been making jewelry for more than 12 years. she does beadwork, wirework, and the occasional metalwork, though her favorite is the wire.

 Chalcedony Cluster

the :ninja is slightly obsessed with foreign countries. she especially likes Korea. she finds the language to be beautiful, and she really would love to learn to speak it. yoboseiyo is how one answers the telephone in Korean, and the nickname yobo is a term of endearment.

yobo herself is a strange little girl who likes to be silly and make people laugh. she got the nickname over on the forums on Etsy, where she has the reputation for being a complete and utter nutball.
*personal note here...although I haven't had the pleasure to run into yobo in the forums, on twitter this is true! follow yobo for giggles and sweet tweets!

The :ninja is a member of SRAJD (Self-Representing-Artist Jewelry Designer), # 0355.

Little Bug Jewelry

Beautiful handmade fine and fashion jewelry!
A bit from Jane:
"I am a mom to two beautiful daughters, the older of which is my
"little bug", which led to the name of my jewelry line.

Nesting- Sterling silver and turquoise earrings

Blue waters- A turquoise and silver ring

I work with semi-precious and precious gemstones,
genuine swarovski crystals, glass and porcelain beads.
Silver is usually sterling or high quality Bali, Thai or silver plated.

Sun and moon - Carnelian, moonstone and silver earrings

Looped too- hammered, oxidized fine silver and coral ring

On occasion I will use pewter or base metal to allow for lower
pricing while maintaining beauty and style.

Celia triplet- Blue labradorite, ruby, rainbow moonstone and oxidized sterling necklace-

Amethyst dreams- Cape Amethyst and Freshwater pearl necklace

My style of late has veered more towards gemstone jewelry and my new love, metalsmithing.

Iolite, white freshwater pearl and moonstone stacking ring set

Green way- Green nephrite jade ring pair
Custom work is available including bridal jewelry, mother's bracelets and stacking rings which I love doing!"

Delicious Jewelry Designer Sharon Burgess

"I have been designing and crafting jewelry for over 30 years. My latest passion is creating earrings with gemstone beads, sterling silver, and gold filled wire. Each piece in my shop has been carefully designed and handmade by me.

Solar Quartz - Tsavorite Garnet - White Topaz Earrings

I use only high quality metals and stones in my work. I love to create with unusual and rare gemstones and make an effort to seek them out. Occasionally I will find a glass bead that I can't resist, and it might find its way into one of my pieces.

Lemon Twist - Quartz, Oregon Sunstone, Gaspeite Earrings

Red Garnet Earrings

About two years ago I started experimenting with silver wire and gemstone beads, and I have fallen in love with this art form. I had forgotten how much fun it is to start a project on my own, and complete every step of it along the way, until I have created something unique and one of a kind.
I don't often duplicate a piece, preferring to keep each pair of earrings or necklace unique, just like you. If you buy something from me, you can be 99% sure that I won't make another one like it unless you specifically ask for matching pieces for your sisters, friends, bridesmaids, etc!"

I Heart You - Onyx and Sterling Silver Necklace

Winter Blues - Blue Kyanite Earrings - Clusters

Sharon made these earrings with her first bead buy at Gemalicious Beads
The kyanite worked beautifully into a custom order she got only days after purchasing.
Love a happy ending!
